"My time at the Royal Henley Regatta in the summer of 2013 as a rising senior oarsman at Northeastern was perhaps the most impactful experience of my collegiate career. In terms of global exposure, there is no higher stage that collegiate men’s rowing can compete at, and our racing campaign through this regatta saw us racing international national team squads exclusively. The success we experienced there through multiple wins and record-setting performances was an excellent mirror for the Empower campaign that was concurrently taking place, and served to exemplify the University’s evolving position as a global force. "
