In August, women’s basketball will head Barcelona and Valencia, Spain. While in Europe, the Huskies will play two games against high-level, local competition in addition to touring several historical sites including Las Ramblas, the Gothic Quarter, Mountjuic Castle and Gaudi’s Segrada Familia in Barcelona.

During spring break, the women’s soccer team will travel to two European countries from March 2 to March 10 in Barcelona, Spain and Montpellier, France. The trip will consist of two friendly matches, one in each city, as well as cultural excursions, city tours and recreational team bonding.

Dec 27th, 2017

As they celebrate their 40th Anniversary of the program history, the women’s swimming and diving team will travel to Dublin, Ireland for its winter training trip from December 27 to January 4. The team will train out of the National Aquatic Centre throughout the trip, and will also take a day trip to Belfast, Northern Ireland during the week.

Northeastern women's rowing took the world stage in June 2017 when the Huskies traveled to Henley-on-Thames, England for the prestigious Henley Women's Regatta for the first time in program history.
 
Henley Women's Regatta is the premier regatta for women in the United Kingdom. Each year more than 1,500 rowers travel from all over the UK and from across the world to compete in this prestigious event.

Northeastern’s baseball and volleyball teams traveled to Cuba in December 2016 for a cultural exchange that included competition and community service. The trip was the latest in a series of partnerships the university has formed with academic institutions in Cuba. The trip came at the heels of an announcement in June 2016 in which the university formalized several academic and research partnerships with leading Cuban institutions.

Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh joined Councillor Arder Carson, Lord Mayor of Belfast, Northern Ireland and representatives from the hockey community in 2015 to announce the first-ever "The Friendship Four," an international hockey tournament in Belfast featuring hockey teams from Northeastern, UMass Lowell, Brown and Colgate competing for the Belpot Trophy.
